Pleasing balance between organization & flexibility

My husband and I (both retired public servants in our 60’s) saw a newspaper advertisement for Stephen’s company and subsequently met him at a travel expo in Sydney in 2004. We wanted to travel to Croatia but the few tours offered by other companies seemed superficial and did not appeal to us.
In June 2005 we did a 9 day tour of Croatia with Stephen and enjoyed it so much we did another 9 day tour in July this year (2007) in order to see some of the places we didn’t visit last time and to revisit some favourite spots. We are hoping to be able to travel with Stephen again in 2009.
Stephen’s tours appeal to us because the groups are small (7 this year) and comprise a pleasing balance between organization and flexibility. They allow a degree of free time for which he is happy to provide suggestions if desired. Stephen does a great deal of research which results in a very interesting itinerary.
It is obvious he takes pride and derives satisfaction in being able to give his clients a very enjoyable experience. We have always found Stephen to be courteous and considerate, totally reliable in terms of punctuality and in delivering what he promises. On more than one occasion his service to us went way beyond what was expected.
We find him an enormously likable young man whose conduct is friendly but professional. If you choose to travel with Stephen, I am confident you will not be disappointed.
